Job summary

Alliance Material Handling Inc is looking for experienced forklift mechanics and field service technicians to join our Winchester team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts at customer sites, service batteries and chargers, and perform preventive maintenance.

This field-based role requires traveling to customer locations from your home, with a company truck and gas card provided. Starting pay is $24 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as forklift, diesel, or equipment technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP).
• Service industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the day.
• Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations.
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a field-based position. Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Winchester, Virginia, as they will travel directly to customer locations throughout the territory. This is not a remote position.

Compensation: Starting at $24/hr, based on experience

What You Need:
