Job summary

Alliance Material Handling is seeking a field-based forklift/mechanical technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts at customer sites across the region. You’ll start and end your day from home, travel between locations, and work independently in the field with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

In this role you’ll service electric, gas, and LP forklifts, batteries, and chargers, and you’ll communicate clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a forklift mechanic, diesel mechanic, or equipment technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Your own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in various positions.

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Travel to customer sites throughout the day
• Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations
