Job summary

Alliance Material Handling is seeking a field-based forklift/equipment technician who will diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and batteries across customer sites. You will travel daily, communicate repair recommendations to customers, and perform preventative maintenance as assigned.

Ideal candidates have forklift or diesel/equipment technician experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in the field, with a valid license and

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Your own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP)
• Service industrial batteries and chargers
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Travel to customer sites throughout the day
• Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned
