Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems, and execute advanced repairs at customer locations across a dynamic fleet of aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC systems, and generators. You will work with a safety-focused team, handling a range of equipment and models while meeting quality and uptime targets.

A high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of mechanic experience, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school helpful.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required in some locations) and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes and models, including generators, pumps, HVAC and power equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and use provided tools and equipment for servicing.
