Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet in various locations, including remote sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete repairs with focus on safety and uptime.

Expect work on aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC or oil/gas gear depending on location. Strong candidates have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade schooling desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on a diverse fleet.
• Repair equipment to minimize downtime with safe, effective practices.
• Work on Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC or oil/gas equipment as applicable.
