Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic/Technician to maintain a diverse fleet, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel and heavy construction equipment in various locations. You will work with aerial lifts, pumps, HVAC and power systems, following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3-5 years of mechanic experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment; oil & gas equipment listed as preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes and models across remote locations; operate safely and efficiently.
• Use knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems to troubleshoot and fix issues.
