Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to join our field service team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete advanced repairs at customer sites on a variety of makes and equipment.

Based in a safety-focused environment, you will help ensure uptime for aerial work platforms, pumps, generators, HVAC and oil/gas equipment, with opportunities to grow into service or operations management roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training is desirable.
• Experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair at the customer’s location.
• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in remote locations.
• Ensure safety and uptime of fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, and generators.
