Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Road/Dispatcher Supervisor. The role requires a customer service orientation with a strong safety focus. Location: 405 North 79th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85043.

Starting pay is $23.75 per hour with progression to $36.79 over 5 years. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, health/dental/vision after 90 days, and a 401(k). Requires CDL Class B and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL Class B required.
• 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have a flexible work schedule.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical per DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Assign and communicate job requirements and responsibilities to Operators and Road Supervisors
• Day-to-day scheduling, counseling and evaluation reports
• Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports and safety violation documents.
• Host driver training and safety courses
• Assist Safety Manager with DOT compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping.
• Other duties as required.
