Driver/Operator

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Location

South Yard – 2225 W Lower Buckeye Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85009.

Interviews

We will be conducting in‑person interviews for qualified candidates every Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM at our office located at 2225 W Lower Buckeye Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Candidates should bring their Driver’s license, CDL + passenger endorsement (if applicable), SS card, and DOT medical card (if applicable).

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay $21.86 with progression to $32.46 over 5 years. (Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
• Up to 5 days Paid Vacation
• Paid Sick Leave: up to 8 hrs. monthly full‑time employees

Key Responsibilities

• Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide excellent care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, or a valid CDL permit with ability to obtain required endorsements.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varied temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material up to 50 lbs.; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to low locations.
• Tolerate heavy traffic areas and exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
