Accura Engineering seeks a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection for roadway, bridge, and transportation projects. Responsibilities include field inspections, material verification, and documentation support, with guidance provided to other inspectors as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 18–36 months of inspection experience, and ability to read plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18–36 months of progressive transportation inspection or technician experience.
• Experience inspecting roadways, bridges, or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Experience with mathematics including geometry and trigonometry.
• Possess required GDOT certifications or be able to obtain them.

Responsabilités

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction to ensure compliance.
• Inspect asphalt, concrete, pavement placement, compaction, and alignment.
• Inspect foundations, piling, reinforcement, and concrete placement.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records.
• Prepare reports and supervise other inspectors as needed.
• Participate in project meetings and field reviews.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Operate a vehicle across the project area and perform field inspections.
