Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway, bridge, and transportation projects. You will verify materials, inspect compliance with plans, and support project engineers throughout the construction process.

You may supervise other inspectors and assist with various transportation projects, including resurfacing and safety improvements, while communicating clearly with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 18 months to 3 years of progressive transportation inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs and contract documents.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge work to ensure compliance.
• Inspect asphalt/concrete, pavements, alignment, depth, and compaction.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion controls.
• Prepare reports and maintain project records.
• Supervise inspectors as assigned.
