Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection services for roadway, bridge, and transportation projects. You will conduct field inspections, verify materials, maintain documentation, and support project engineers throughout construction.

Responsibilities include inspecting pavements, structural components, traffic control, and erosion control; reviewing plans; and communicating with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform field inspections and maintain project records and pay quantities.
• Apply GDOT certification requirements to field inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials, pavement placement and quality.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion/sediment control measures.
• Prepare reports and maintain inspection records; assist with project meetings and reviews.
