Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is currently seeking immediate hire PerDiem RNs to join a dedicated interdisciplinary treatment team in Middletown, NY.

The position supports residents' health through nursing processes, with 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am) and duties including monitoring, documentation in EMR, and coordination of medical services in line with regulatory requirements. Prior experience in substance use settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Board of Nursing license and registration in good standing.
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association).
• One year of experience in nursing is required.
• Two years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor medical services as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide individualized patient care and monitor symptoms.
• Document changes and care in electronic medical records (EMR).

Salary Range: $40.00/hr. - $47.50/hr. - Based on years of experience, educational degree and licensing

We are currently seeking for immediate hire PerDiem RN’s - The position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS For LPN

• Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Registered Nurses
