Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County in New York is hiring LPNs to support clients with substance use disorder care. You will join an interdisciplinary team, follow nursing processes, and monitor medical needs in a regulated setting.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, documentation in electronic medical records, and coordinating services to improve overall health outcomes. The schedule features 12-hour shifts, with 3 shifts per week from 7am to 7:30pm, on-site employment.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Current New York State Board of Nursing license and registration in good standing.
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association).
• One year of nursing experience; new graduates considered if qualified.
• Preferred two years in Substance Abuse settings.

Salary Range: $29.00/hr. - $35.00/hr. -Based on years of experience, educational degree and licensing

Schedule: 3 (12-hour) shifts/week, 7am to 7:30pm

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

We are currently seeking for immediate hire: LPN’s - The position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for LPN:
