Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is hiring an RN/LPN for a full-time night shift (7pm-7:30am) to support clients with substance use disorders. The nurse will monitor health, document changes in EMR, and collaborate with the treatment team to promote recovery.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with NYS RN license and BLS; 1 year of nursing experience is expected, with substance abuse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association).
• One (1) year of experience in nursing. New graduate will consider the right candidate.
• Preferred, not required, two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care and monitor clients.
• Coordinate and monitor medical services per regulatory requirements.
• Use EMR to document symptoms and changes in client condition.

Salary Range: $36/hr. - $47/hr. (with night shift differential) Based on years of experience, educational degree and licensing.

Full-Time Over Night shift 7pm-7:30am

We are currently seeking for immediate hire: RN/LPN This position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.
