Job summary

Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is seeking LPNs to join our interdisciplinary team. The position promotes the physical and mental health of clients with alcohol and substance use disorders, applying nursing processes and collaborating with the treatment team.

Nurses monitor and report symptoms, document in electronic medical records, and ensure care aligns with regulatory standards. We value communication, reliability, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Current New York State Board of Nursing license and registration in good standing.
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association).
• One (1) year of experience in nursing. New graduate will consider the right candidate.
• Preferred, not required, two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized client care with ongoing monitoring and reporting of symptoms or changes in client condition.
• Coordinate and monitor medical services in accordance with regulatory requirements and client needs.
• Use electronic medical records to document and track client care and outcomes.

Salary Range: $29.00/hr. - $35.00/hr. - Based on years of experience, educational degree and licensing

Schedule: 3 (12-hour) shifts/week, 7am to 7:30pm

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County

We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

We are currently seeking for immediate hire: LPN’s - The position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.
