Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is seeking an RN to join an interdisciplinary team providing care to clients with Substance Use Disorders. Salary is $40.00/hr to $47.50/hr, based on experience, education, and licensing.

Schedule is 3 (12-hour) shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Responsibilities include coordinating medical services, monitoring client health, and using electronic medical records to ensure high-quality, safe care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New York State RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association).
• One (1) year of nursing experience. New graduate may be considered.
• Two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor medical services in accordance with regulatory agencies and client needs.
• Provide individualized care for clients with ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting of symptoms or changes in condition.
• Use electronic medical records to deliver high-quality, safe client care.

Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

We are currently seeking for immediate hire: RN's - The position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client's condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for RN
