Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is currently hiring Per Diem Registered Nurses to join our interdisciplinary treatment team. The RN will provide direct nursing care to residents, monitor conditions, document changes, and respond to clinical needs using our EMR system.

We offer 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am) with compensation based on experience, education, and licensure. Candidates must hold a NY RN license, BLS, and have at least 1 year of nursing experience; substance

Qualifications

• Diploma from NLN-accredited RN program.
• Current NYS RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Substance abuse setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and monitor residents' conditions.
• Coordinate and monitor medical services per regulatory requirements.
• Document and report symptoms and changes; use EMR for care.
• Work as part of interdisciplinary treatment team.

Salary Range: $40.00/hr. - $47.50/hr. -Based on years of experience, educational degree and licensing

We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

We are currently seeking for immediate hire PerDiem RN’s - The position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for LPN:

• Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Registered Nurses
• Current New York State Board of Nursing license and registration in good standing
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association)
• One (1) year of experience in nursing, required
• Preferred, not required, two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting
