Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is actively hiring an RN/LPN to join the interdisciplinary team. You will promote physical and mental health, monitor clients, and document changes in condition using electronic medical records.

Night shift is from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. We value compassionate, evidence-based nursing care and seek candidates with NY RN licensure, BLS, and relevant experience in substance use settings.

Qualifications

• RN graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current New York State RN license in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; new grads may be considered
• Preferred: 2 years nursing in Substance Use disorder setting

• Provide nursing care using nursing processes
• Coordinate and monitor medical services per regulatory requirements

Salary Range: $36/hr. – $47/hr. (with night shift differential) Based on years of experience, educational degree and licensing.

Full-Time Over Night shift 7pm-7:30am

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.

We are currently seeking for immediate hire: RN/LPN This position promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual client need.

Our nurses provide individualized care for the clients by ongoing monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition. We use electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for RN:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing
• BLS certification (through American Heart Association)
• One (1) year of experience in nursing. New graduate will consider the right candidate
• Preferred, not required, two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting
