Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. ® (ESI) seeks a Plant Operator for its RNG facility in Fostoria, Ohio. You will operate and maintain the landfill gas to RNG plant, work closely with the Plant Manager to maximize production, and ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role is hands-on with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of plant operations experience, a trade school certification or equivalent, and a solid mechanical background; 12‑hour rotating shifts and

Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of Plant operations experience.
• Trade school certification, high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
• Ability to read and understand basic PFDs and electrical schematics.
• Ability to use basic troubleshooting tools (multimeters, thermographic, gas testing equipment).
• Basic Windows-based computer skills.
• Experience in maintenance planning and preventative maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all associated equipment safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; on-call support as needed.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for predictive operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment.
• Document events and readings using the ODMS system.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and permits; prepare for inspections.
• Respond to plant callouts promptly (2 hours).
• Assist training of coworkers and temporary operators.
• Travel to assist other Plants or for training.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to SOP development.
• Maximize plant efficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
