Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. ® (ESI) seeks a Plant Operator for New Lexington, OH, to operate and maintain the RNG facility with focus on safety and efficiency. You will work with the Plant Manager and a small team to run routine and non-routine maintenance and to tackle challenges across the plant.

The role requires 1–5 years of plant operations experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to read PFDs/electrical schematics. DOT testing may apply; travel to other plants is possible.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of plant operations experience.
• Trade school certification or a high school diploma/GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
• Ability to read basic Process Flow Diagrams and Electrical Schematics.
• Ability to use basic troubleshooting tools including multimeters, thermographic devices, and gas testing equipment.
• Basic Windows-based computer skills.
• Established troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in maintenance planning and preventative maintenance strategies.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to work independently, self-motivate, and communicate effectively with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all equipment safely, neatly, and in good condition.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; remote and on-site support available.
• Learn to maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment.
• Use ODMS to track events, operational data, and daily readings.
• Follow compliance regulations, keep permits posted, and interact with inspectors.
• Respond to plant callouts in a timely and professional manner (within 2 hours).
• Assist with training coworkers or temporary Operators at the Plant.
• Travel to assist others or for training; support SOP development.
