Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. ® (ESI) seeks a Plant Operator for the RNG plant in Fostoria, Ohio, to maximize production and run routine/non-routine maintenance with the Plant Manager. This hands-on role emphasizes safety culture and teamwork across three operators.

You will be part of a skilled team, handling plant performance, troubleshooting, and plant support duties while ensuring reliable operation and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of plant operations experience.
• Trade school certificate, high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
• Ability to read basic PFDs and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with troubleshooting tools (multimeters, thermography, gas testing).
• Basic Windows computer skills and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all equipment safely and neatly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems with remote/on-site help.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for condition-based operations.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment.
• Use ODMS to track events, data, and daily readings.
• Follow compliance regulations and maintain documentation for inspectors.
• Respond to Plant callouts typically within 2 hours.
• Assist with training of coworkers and temporary operators.
• Travel to other Plants or the Corporate office as needed.
• Follow and develop SOPs to improve plant efficiency.
