Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. (ESI) is seeking a Plant Operator in Sedalia, Missouri to operate a Landfill Gas to RNG facility and maximize production. You will work with the Plant Manager on routine maintenance, safeguard safety culture, and utilize SCADA/ODMS for operations.

This hands-on role requires independence with strong teamwork and willingness to travel to other plants as needed. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance on major equipment, and assist in training coworkers while

Qualifications

• Must have 1–5 years of Plant operations experience.
• Trade school cert or equivalent; HS diploma or GED acceptable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read PFDs and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with basic Windows tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems; remote/onsite support available.
• Maximize SCADA usage for predictive/preventive maintenance.
• Perform maintenance on major/auxiliary equipment (gas analyzers, pumps, compressors, etc.).
• Document events and readings in the ODMS system.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and interact with inspectors.
• Respond to plant callouts within 2 hours; train coworkers as needed.
• Travel to other plants for support or covering roles.
