Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. (ESI) is seeking a Plant Operator for Sedalia, MO to operate a Landfill Gas to RNG plant and maximize production. You will work with the Plant Manager on routine and non-routine maintenance, take ownership of plant performance, and help the team ground issues and implement solutions.

You’ll join a three-person plant team and engage in safety culture, with travel to other sites as needed. The role requires 12-hour shifts and the ability to climb and lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification or high school diploma required.
• Ability to read process diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• DOT testing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant and equipment safely and orderly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for predictive operations.
• Perform maintenance on major and ancillary equipment.
• Use ODMS to track events and daily readings.
• Follow compliance regulations and maintain permits.
• Respond to plant callouts within 2 hours.
• Train coworkers and assist other Operators.
• Travel to assist other plants or for training.
• Follow SOPs and assist in SOP development.
