Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. (ESI) is seeking a Plant Operator for our Sedalia, Missouri RNG facility. You will operate and maintain the plant to maximize production, working closely with the Plant Manager to meet performance goals in a safety‑conscious environment.

This hands‑on role requires 1–5 years in plant operations, basic electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to read PFDs/SCADA data. Travel up to 15% may be required; shifts are 12 hours with rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of Plant operations experience.
• Trade school certification, high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
• Ability to read basic Process Flow Diagrams and Electrical Schematics.
• Ability to use basic troubleshooting tools (Multimeters, thermographic, gas testing).
• Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively.
• 12 hour shifts with rotating schedule.
• DOT drug testing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all associated equipment safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment.
• Record events and data in ODMS and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Travel to assist other plants or training as needed.
