Kaiser Permanente is seeking an RNFA to support the surgical team in the Northwest Surgical Services region. The role includes intra-operative assistance, pre- and post-operative care, and collaboration with surgeons and the broader health-care team.

The RNFA will participate in an ongoing on-call rotation to cover elective, emergent and urgent surgical cases, performing RNFA responsibilities in accordance with AORN, state regulations, and facility protocols.

Competenze

• Minimum two years of peri-operative scrubbing and circulating experience.
• RNFA experience required (KP or external).
• Certified RNFA with AORN-recognized program.
• Current Oregon RN license and RNFA credential.

Mansioni

• Assist surgeon intra-operatively with instruments, exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis, and suturing as directed by the surgeon.
• Support room setup, preparation, and transferring the patient; assist anesthesia during induction and time-out processes.
• Post-operative assessment and patient education per facility protocols.
