Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks an RNFA to lead intra-operative support within our surgical services. You will coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure availability of instruments, implants, and staff for high-quality procedures.

The role requires RN licensure with RNFA certification and hands-on experience in scrub and circulating roles, including OR teamwork and patient transfer post-operatively.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of intra-operative scrubbing and circulating experience within Specialty.
• One (1) year of recent experience, within the last two (2) years, as an RNFA or successful completion of a CCI recognized RNFA course and agreement from ASC.

Responsibilities

• Lead intra-operative support for surgical procedures, coordinating with the team.
• Assist surgeon with instruments, tissue handling, hemostasis, clamping and suturing as directed.
• Prepare room, equipment and supplies; ensure sterile technique and readiness for cases.
• Support post-operative transfer, turnover and room preparation for next case.
