Job summary

Skilled Nursing Facility is actively seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of resident care in a Sub-Acute Rehab and Long Term Care setting. This full-time role requires a self-directed, responsible individual who will supervise the care team and assure continued delivery of services to residents.

The position emphasizes mentoring of nurses and CNAs, coordination with families, and collaboration with Therapy, Dietary and Social Work to provide comprehensive person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current NY RN license or registered in NY
• Self-directed and responsible with ability to oversee a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekdays/weekends
• Experience in sub-acute rehab and long-term care helpful

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of resident care and ensure delivery of services
• Mentor and supervise nurses and CNAs; coordinate with families and other departments
• Lead annual competencies and staff in-services; promote ongoing education
• Work across sub-acute rehab and long-term care services to maintain comprehensive care
