Skilled Nursing Facility is actively seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of resident care in a Sub-Acute Rehab and Long Term Care setting. This full-time role requires a self-directed, responsible individual who will supervise the care team and assure continued delivery of services to residents.

The position emphasizes mentoring of nurses and CNAs, coordination with families, and collaboration with Therapy, Dietary and Social Work to provide comprehensive person-centered care.

Competenze

• Current NY RN license or registered in NY
• Self-directed and responsible with ability to oversee a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekdays/weekends
• Experience in sub-acute rehab and long-term care helpful

Sub Acute & Long Term Care facility. This Full Time position requires a self-directed, responsible individual who will oversee all aspects of resident care and assure continued delivery of service to our residents.

Responsibilities and Duties

• As a member of the team, this position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to demonstrate a level of proficiency in the management/oversight of their team.




• Mentoring of Nurses and Certified Nurses Assistants, interaction with families, departments such as Therapy, Dietary and Social Work to ensure comprehensive person centered care is delivered is an essential part of the position




• Assist with annual competencies and staff in-services




• Sub-Acute Rehab as well as Long Term Care

Qualifications and Skills

• Current license in NY




• Qualified candidates would be required to be flexible in their schedule
