Job summary
Faith Haven Senior Care Center in Jackson, MI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead the clinical team on a designated unit within our 24-hour operation. You will coordinate care, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, resident-centered nursing practice using the latest technology.
This management role requires a Michigan RN license, CPR-BLS, and at least two years of related experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
- Current Michigan RN license and CPR-BLS certification.
- Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and oversee quality of care.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork to support staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing team: provide direction, assignments, training, recognition and evaluations.
- Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
- Instruct team on skilled care processes and serve as a clinical resource.
- Ensure timely completion of reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
- Promote hospitality and exceptional customer service in interactions with residents and families.
