Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a dedicated nursing team in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting. You will mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, oversee daily nursing operations, and drive quality patient care across the unit.

This full-time leadership role focuses on staff development, clinical excellence, and collaboration with therapy and medical teams. Monday–Friday day shift with competitive RN pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Leadership experience such as Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct patient rounds and monitor quality of care.
• Assess changes in patient condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Ensure physician orders and treatments are completed accurately.
• Monitor clinical documentation and individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with staff education, performance improvement, and clinical competency.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive nursing environment.

What You'll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Previous nursing experience required
• Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager, or other leadership experience preferred
• Hospital, rehabilitation, or long‑term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and patient care planning
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality patient care
