Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Clinical Services (Director of Nursing/DON) to lead our nursing department.
This is an opportunity for a nursing leader who wants more than a title. We are looking for someone who can develop people, strengthen clinical systems, drive quality outcomes, and create a nursing culture built on accountability, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
Aspire Hoover serves both rehabilitation and long-term care patients, giving our clinical leaders the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where they can see patients progress, regain independence, and successfully transition through their recovery journey.
If you're an experienced DON—or a strong ADON ready for your next leadership challenge,we'd like to talk with you.
The Director of Clinical Services provides leadership and direction for all nursing services within the facility.
You'll partner closely with the Executive Director, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive exceptional clinical care while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong nursing operations.
Most importantly, you'll build and lead a nursing team capable of delivering that standard consistently.
You know that successful nursing leadership requires being visible, approachable, accountable, and willing to develop your team.
You're comfortable setting expectations- but equally committed to giving employees the tools, coaching, and support they need to succeed.
You understand clinical operations, recognize problems early, follow through, and aren't afraid to make decisions.
Most importantly, you haven't lost sight of why nursing exists in the first place: taking exceptional care of people.
