Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, part of Stellar Health Group, is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit and oversee daily operations focused on resident-centered care.

You will supervise an interdisciplinary team, collaborate with Nursing Leadership, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while promoting a supportive, respectful environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care guidelines preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Compassionate and committed to providing exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit operations and ensure resident needs are met.
• Lead and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care.
• Coordinate care with Nursing Leadership, Attending Providers, and Direct Care staff.
• Promote safety and adherence to facility protocols and standards.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Foster effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Support a positive, resident-centered environment.
• Address concerns and resolve challenging situations professionally.
