Job summary

MediLodge of Holland is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor (RN) to direct the nursing unit in a long-term care facility. You will lead staffing, oversee resident care, and coordinate with physicians to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a registered nurse with 3+ years of nursing experience, including LTC, and CPR certification where required. You will mentor staff and participate in QA activities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Three years nursing experience, with at least one year in a long-term care environment.
• RN license (state requirements) and CPR certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct the nursing unit’s operations, including hiring, disciplining, and evaluating staff.
• Plan and facilitate resident care meetings and committees.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary constraints while maintaining high quality of care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs for recruitment, retention, and continuing education of nursing staff.
• Coordinate with physicians for timely interventions and review patient conditions.
