Greenwood Connections seeks a Nursing Unit Manager to oversee nursing operations, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and ensure high-quality resident care in line with policy, procedures, and Minnesota regulations.

The Nurse Manager will collaborate with physicians and therapists, coordinate care plans, mentor staff, manage hiring and training, and drive safety, quality improvement, and regulatory readiness across the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Minnesota.
• Experience in senior living/skilled care.
• Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership with ability to develop a high-performing team.
• Knowledge of nursing practice standards for skilled facilities.
• CPR certification.
• Must pass background checks and health screens.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing staff.
• Promote a positive work environment and teamwork.
• Oversee hiring, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate care plans to meet individualized resident needs.
• Assess residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists on care plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in regulatory surveys, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Identify training needs and implement educational programs.
• Foster communication with interdisciplinary team.
• Serve as liaison between staff, residents, families, and health professionals.
• Report incidents per regulatory requirements and follow up.
• Apply community safety procedures for resident protection.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary.
• Comply with Minnesota Department of Health and CMS rules.
