Job summary

Greenwood Village South is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead a 54-bed split skilled nursing unit in Greenwood, IN. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and the chance to drive quality outcomes while supporting residents and staff.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure accurate physician orders, conduct rounds, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and the interdisciplinary team. On-call every fourth weekend and Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN or LPN license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing.
• Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support nursing department staff.
• Ensure physician orders are accurately followed and implemented.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, conditions, and quality of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through education and performance feedback.
• Support orientation and onboarding of new employees.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in care planning and quality assurance initiatives.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Promote restorative nursing practices and resident independence.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, medication management, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality.
• Partner with ancillary team members who assist with auditing and staff communication processes to support operational effectiveness.
