Greenwood Village South in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead a dedicated nursing team on a 54-bed split unit, delivering exceptional resident care and coordinating daily operations.

This leadership role emphasizes mentorship, care planning, and audits, with on-site support from ancillary staff and a commitment to quality outcomes, teamwork, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN or LPN license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing.
• Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
• Passion for serving older adults and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support nursing department staff.
• Ensure physician orders are accurately followed and implemented.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, conditions, and quality of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through education and performance feedback.
• Support orientation and onboarding of new employees.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in care planning and quality assurance initiatives.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Promote restorative nursing practices and resident independence.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, medication management, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality.
• Partner with ancillary team members who assist with auditing and staff communication processes to support operational effectiveness.
