Fulton Commons Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team as the Unit Manager. This full-time day-shift role focuses on clinical leadership, staff support, and ensuring daily unit operations run smoothly.

The RN Unit Manager will oversee clinical and operational aspects of the unit, collaborate with staff, residents, families, and leadership to promote safe, high-quality resident care. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Current, valid RN license required.
• 2+ years of long-term care experience preferred.
• 1+ year of Unit Manager experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency for clinical documentation and communication.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff while overseeing daily unit activities.
• Ensure facility and employee policies and procedures are followed consistently.
• Provide clinical direction, coaching, and mentorship to nurses and other team members.
• Maintain high standards of nursing care with a focus on resident safety and quality outcomes.
• Review resident documentation and medical records to ensure appropriate care.
• Complete case reviews and monitor compliance with care plans.
• Respond to resident and family questions with professionalism and compassion.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies for the unit.
• Partner with upper management to communicate unit needs and improve operations.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment for residents and staff.
