Westminster Nursing and Rehab in Westminster, MD is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team and coordinate all resident care on a 24-hour basis. You will ensure adequate staffing, monitor attendance, train staff, assign shifts, and collaborate with ancillary departments to maintain quality care and accurate documentation for reimbursement from payors.

• Must hold a current RN license in the state.
• Minimum 5 years of long-term care experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to lead staff and manage unit operations.
• Ensure accurate documentation for reimbursement.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure sufficient nursing staffing levels to deliver quality resident care
• Monitor staff attendance and initiate disciplinary actions as needed
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees and participate in their ongoing training
• Develop and communicate shift assignments for nursing staff and monitor job performance
• Communicate with ancillary departments and nursing staff at shift change on resident conditions
• Evaluate staff performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure appropriate recognition for staff achievements
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested
