Job summary

FutureCare Associates, Inc. in Baltimore is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a dedicated nursing team and uphold the highest standards of care for residents.

You will supervise daily operations, develop care plans, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and physicians to ensure exceptional resident outcomes. A Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (MD) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.
• Current CPR license/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality care per nursing standards and FutureCare policies.
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents.
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed.
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident.
• Supervises and counsels nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and physicians to plan and maintain resident care.
• Identifies issues and works with nursing leadership to resolve them.
• Manages clinical aspects of nursing practice and engages in clinical activities.
