Job summary

Apploi is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit with day-to-day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff. The role includes ensuring quality and coordinating nursing services to maintain the resident’s total care regimen.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license for the state of practice.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education and be able to read, write, and follow directions.
• Must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Direct day-to-day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff, including counseling and disciplinary actions, evaluations, and scheduling.
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
