FutureCare is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance while guiding a dedicated nursing team.

You will supervise staff, develop resident care plans, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and physicians to deliver outstanding resident outcomes. The role supports professional growth with a robust benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years of managerial experience is a plus.
• Current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of the assigned unit to ensure quality care.
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents.
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed.
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets each resident's care needs.
• Supervises, counsels, and manages performance of nursing staff.
• Collaborates with the Director of Nursing and physicians to plan and maintain resident care.
• Identifies problems and works with Nursing leadership to resolve issues.
• Directs all clinical aspects of nursing practice and participates in clinical activities.
• Serves as main contact between residents and families, addressing concerns.
• Performs audits and completes charting, evaluations, and forms.
