Job summary

Journey is hiring a full-time RN Unit Manager to lead the daily nursing operations of an assigned unit and support residents, families, nurses, and CNAs. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and pays based on nursing and leadership experience.

The position requires an RN license, a nursing degree, and relevant experience in long-term care with supervisory responsibilities. Weekly pay with DailyPay and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Georgia.
• A nursing degree from an accredited nursing program.
• At least two years of direct care experience in a long-term care, restorative, or geriatric setting.
• At least one year of charge nurse, supervisory, or nursing management experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing services for the assigned unit.
• Coordinate resident care and make appropriate nursing assignments.
• Direct and support nurses and certified nursing assistants.
• Oversee resident assessments, care plans, medications, and treatments.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Review nursing documentation for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident transfers as needed.
• Coach nursing staff and support ongoing professional development.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and supplies are maintained on the unit.
• Work with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support quality outcomes.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
