Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care on an assigned unit.

You will lead nursing staff, ensure care aligns with standards and regulations, collaborate with physicians and therapy teams, and manage staffing and performance. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with mission, values, and policies and compliant with regulations.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Manage human resources in the unit including staffing, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
