Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to oversee a nursing unit and support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership of nursing staff, coordination with physicians and therapists, and ensuring care aligns with regulatory standards. Strong HR management and discipline processes are required.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure patient/resident care delivery aligns with mission, values and policies and with standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians and therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage unit HR including overtime, staffing, performance and disciplinary actions.
