Genesis HealthCare is seeking an RN Unit Manager/Director to lead a nursing unit and support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality resident care. You will oversee staffing, regulatory compliance and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with delivery of high-quality care and achieve positive clinical outcomes, patient/resident, family and employee satisfaction.
• Lead, guide and direct operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned unit.
• Ensure patient/resident care delivery aligns with mission, values, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage human resources in the unit, including controlling overtime and agency usage, recruiting and orientating staff, and evaluating performance.
