Job summary

Linley Park Post Acute in Anderson, SC is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical leadership for a designated resident care unit. This full-time role supervises nursing staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an SC RN license, CPR, and has leadership experience in long-term care. You will participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to maintain care excellence.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted South Carolina RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with PCC preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Must maintain licensure in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely intervention for changes in status
• Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
• Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives
• Partner with physicians, therapists, and department leaders to achieve positive resident outcomes
• Assist with staff development, coaching, education, and performance management
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident care excellence
