Job summary

Harborview-Pierce-County is seeking a Unit Manager - RN to oversee nursing care on the unit. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, you will supervise RN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids, ensure admissions and routine assessments are completed, and monitor resident conditions for safety and continuity of care.

The role demands active RN licensure in good standing, with preference for skilled nursing or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise medication administration and supervise RN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and aides.
• Complete admissions and routine resident assessments.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams and families.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect your residents and teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
