Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an experienced Unit Manager - RN to lead a nursing unit within a skilled nursing facility. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain staffing, ensure safe and high-quality care, and drive positive clinical outcomes while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.

The role requires active nursing licensure, an associates/baccalaureate degree in nursing, leadership experience, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active nursing license in state.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to ensure adequate staffing and safe care.
• Participate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals and reduce rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses; serve as a resource on quality of care.
• Oversee medication management per policy and regulatory standards.
• Provide direct patient care alongside unit nurses to maintain skills.
