Genesis HealthCare is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care on an assigned unit. You will lead nursing staff and coordinate patient care to achieve positive clinical outcomes while ensuring satisfaction.

This role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure. You will collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams, manage staffing, and uphold regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure patient care delivery aligns with mission, values and policies and meets regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians and rehabilitation therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage human resources in the unit, recruit and orient staff, assess performance and address disciplinary matters.
